Deloitte New Zealand in Wellington seeks a Public Sector Transformation Analyst/Consultant to support transformation and operational improvement for public sector clients. You will work with a team of consultants and partners to understand challenges, develop recommendations, and help deliver change across operating models, processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years' experience in public sector, central government, or similar.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives and operating model design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear recommendations.
• Proven ability to collaborate across stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to understand challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Comfort communicating with diverse stakeholders and presenting insights.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients across public sector organisations to support transformation and operational improvement.
• Collaborate with experienced consultants, managers and partners to build consulting and delivery skills.
• Analyse client challenges, develop recommendations, and support delivery of transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to operating model design, process improvements and roadmaps.
• Assist in workshops and executive briefings, presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Explore how digital, data and AI-enabled solutions can improve performance and service delivery.
