Job summary

Sudima Hotels is seeking a passionate Public Areas Attendant to ensure guest areas are clean and well-maintained at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile Hotel. The role supports a high standard of service and may involve duties across departments, with a focus on guest experience and hotel safety.

The position is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering $25.50 per hour and benefits as listed by the employer. Applicants should have at least 3 months in a similar role and right to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in a similar role (minimum)
• Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week across a rostered schedule
• Excellent attention to detail and grooming standards
• Capable of staying calm under pressure and resolving problems efficiently
• Customer-focused and willing to go the extra mile for guests
• Strong grooming and hygiene standards
• Right to Work in NZ

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain back of house areas.
• Clean and maintain front of house public areas including the gym.
• Carry out extra cleaning and special duties as directed by supervisors.
• Provide warm, friendly welcome to guests and assist with directions.
• Ensure security of guests' personal information and report items of value.
• Clean and service guest rooms and public areas per hotel standards and safety regulations.
