Job summary

Habit Health Timaru is seeking an experienced Psychologist to grow clinical skills in rehabilitation and enhance patient care with the support of a multidisciplinary team. The role offers resources to succeed and a focus on work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will hold MA/PG Dip/DClin or equivalent, be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board (APC) and belong to a professional body. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification.
• Registration as a Psychologist with NZ Psychologists' Board / APC.
• Membership of NZ College of Clinical Psychologists or NZ Psychological Society.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning.
• Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments.
• Contribute to training and resources for services delivered.
• Collaborate with MDT to support patient care.

Our Timaru branch is looking for an experienced Psychologist who wants to grow their clinical skills in rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in patient care and well-being whilst being provided with the resources to succeed.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning
• Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments
• Be part of the development of training and resources for services delivered

The Ideal Candidate

• MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification
• Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists' Board / a current APC
