Job summary

HEB Construction, part of VINCI Construction, is seeking an experienced Project Planner in Invercargill to develop and optimise detailed programmes for civil infrastructure projects. You will work with design, procurement and delivery teams to ensure safe, efficient and profitable projects.

Responsibilities include creating integrated schedules, performing critical path analysis, monitoring progress and supporting tender submissions with robust construction programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience developing programmes for civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, staging and project delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience using planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• Experience working across tender and delivery environments.

• Producing cashflow forecasts, resource histograms and project performance reports.

We're seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team in Invercargill, supporting the planning, programming and successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably through industry-leading planning and controls practices.

The Opportunity

As a Project Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising detailed project programmes that support both tendering and project delivery. Working closely with operational, engineering and commercial teams, you'll help identify opportunities, manage risks and provide the critical project insights that drive successful outcomes.
