You'll lead and contribute to major multi-year programmes including protection system upgrades, safety instrumentation system upgrades, critical asset renewals, and enabling works for our Major Rehabilitation Programme. Working alongside operational, engineering and specialist delivery teams, you'll be involved in projects that enhance the safety, reliability, and performance of renewable generation assets that power communities across Aotearoa.

  • Work with stakeholders, contractors, and delivery partners to achieve safe and successful outcomes.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and reporting.

You’ll have experience delivering projects and the ability to work effectively across technical, commercial and stakeholder environments.

You’ll bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a technical discipline, a trade qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of applicable AS/NZS standards and experience working within regulated technical or operational environments
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship management capability.

An electrical background is preferred, ideally with exposure to high-voltage, power, energy, utilities, industrial, infrastructure or other asset-intensive environments. Experience with commissioning, testing, operational readiness and handover processes would also be valuable.

  • Flexible working policy - The autonomy and trust to work flexibly from our purpose-built premises and from home, recognising the value of this flexibility in the modern world
