Job summary

Holmes Aus & Nz in Auckland is seeking Structural Drafters/Digital Modellers to work on challenging projects nationwide, based in Auckland. Contribute to the design process by collaborating with a team to deliver exceptional projects and influence design decisions.

You will work on a variety of high-profile projects, bringing 3–5 years of structural modelling and drafting experience, Revit and BIM workflows, and a desire to mentor juniors while advancing technology within a supportive,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years structural modelling and drafting experience.
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code and architectural/engineering design principles.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM systems.
• Ability to mentor juniors and guide others.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of structural drafting and modelling on projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop designs.
• Mentor and coach junior staff within project teams.
• Develop BIM workflows and family creation as needed.
• Explore new technologies to improve drafting outcomes.

We’re looking for Structural Drafters/Digital Modellers to work on interesting and challenging projects throughout the country, based in Auckland.

You may have skills with design automation, advancedBIMand emerging construction technologies. Whatever youdesire-wehave the opportunity tomeet your ambitions.

Contribute to the design process by working within a team to deliver exceptional projects, influence design,and make a strategic contribution.Work acrossa variety of challenging and interesting high-profile projects alongside some of the best in the business.

Wearealways pursuing new and better ways to deliver drafting and modelling outcomes, including exploring and applyingnew technology.

What we’re looking for:

• Around 3-5 years' structural modelling and drafting experience.
• Technical knowledge of structures and understanding of architectural, engineering and construction design principles, including the NZ Building code.
• Revit skills, 3D Digital Modelling and experience with Family creation or Dynamo are beneficial.
• An understanding of BIM systems,principlesand workflows.
• Project experience, anda desireto get stuck in with mentoring,coachingand guidingjuniors.
• Relevant experience working on a broad range of projects and be comfortable managing your own workload alongside engineers to create the best solution.
• Proactive approach and commitment to producing high-quality work, along with being a stickler for detail.
• Proactive and self-driven with a continuous improvement focus
• Team player – you work well within a project team to deliver successfuloutcomes.
