Job summary

Qualifications

  • No experience required; training provided.
  • Active team member with a positive, hardworking attitude.
  • Able to understand and follow health and safety, quality, and technical compliance requirements.
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand.
  • Must be 18 years or older to meet audit requirements.
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical checks and drug test, criminal convictions check, and physical fitness requirements.
  • Access to quality meat at mates' rates on-site to nourish you and your whānau.
  • On-the-job training and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

  • Complete on-the-job training and earn a minimum hourly rate.
  • Usually, 40 hours per week during peak production season, plus overtime opportunities.
  • 8-hour shifts, day and afternoon shifts; 6am–4:00pm or 4:00pm–12:30am.
  • All work clothing and safety gear is provided.
