Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 20-30 person team in a temperature-controlled meat production facility in Wiri, Auckland. You will drive daily targets, ensure GMP compliance, and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage labour efficiency, coach staff, and foster a high-performing culture while coordinating with Production Managers and support departments. Onsite parking and training provided are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in a bulk food production or similar environment.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience managing productivity, quality, safety, and performance KPIs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
• Sound understanding of GMP, food safety, and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20-30 production employees
• Deliver daily production targets, labour efficiency, and throughput goals
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and health & safety requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production operations
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and performance feedback
• Coordinate resources to achieve production schedules and customer demand
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate maintenance or equipment concerns
• Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
• Collaborate with Production Managers and support departments for smooth operations

As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced supervisor to join their versatile team in Wiri.

About the Role

As the Production Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 20-30 employees, ensuring production plans are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role operates within a temperature-controlled food production facility and involves working with meat products including beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and seafood. The environment is maintained at approximately 4°C to ensure product quality and food safety standards.

Shift: Great work-life balance with 12-hour shifts

Shift A

• Thursday - Saturday: 1:30pm - 1:30am

Shift B

• Sunday - Tuesday: 1:30pm - 1:30am

Pay Rate: $40 - $50 (Pending experience)
