Job summary

Hilton Foods is seeking an experienced Production Planner with FMCG background to join our Planning Team at the WIRI site. You will schedule production and packaging lines, liaise with Production, and ensure materials readiness to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in production planning or supply chain, APICS CPIM (or equivalent) preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Advanced user of computer systems; SAP and Excel advantageous.
• APICS CPIM preferred or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in Production planning, materials procurement or supply chain, ideally FMCG.
• Customer centric, collaborative, responsible and disciplined.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical and data analytics skills; proficient in advanced planning systems (SAP & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily Production plan (with sequence) for processing and packaging lines based on the Master Production Schedule.
• Liaise with Production to understand needs and prioritise operations for maximum performance.
• Track Production progress and anticipate capacity issues.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and primal in time for the plan.
• Prepare daily reports on KPIs such as Service Level, Plan vs. Actual and Store Orders.
• Drive continuous improvement in Production performance to meet demand.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Planner with FMCG industry background to join our Hilton Foods Planning Team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for efficiently producing goods that meet quality specifications while improving our production and distribution processes. As the Production Planner, you will ensure products are ready for timely distribution to our valued customers.

This role will be based at our WIRI site & roster Tue - Sat7:00am-3:30pm

Liaise with Production to understand needs and prioritise operations for maximum performance and minimal delay.

Schedule the daily Production plan (with Production sequence) for the processing and packaging lines based on the Master Production Schedule.

Ensure availability of required primal in the primal warehouse, decanting if necessary.

Track Production progress and anticipate any capacity issues.

Check availability of raw materials for the next day's plan and manage retail stock levels.

Collaborate with Production Managers to ensure planned Production quantities are produced on time.

Daily reporting on Low code, Service Level, Plan vs. Actual, and Store Orders.

Drive continuous improvement in Production performance to meet demand.

About you!

Advanced user of Computer Systems,SAPandExceladvantageous

APICS CPIM preferred or equivalent

At least 3 years’ experience in Production planning, materials procurement or supply chain(ideally within a FMCG environment

Customer centric, collaborative, responsible and disciplined

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Exceptional numerical and data analytics skills, competent in using advanced planning systems (preferably SAP & Excel)
