Job summary

New Zealand Health Manufacturing (NZHM) in Mangere, North Island, is hiring a Production (Encapsulation Machine) Operator for our growth.

You will dispense and blend materials, run the encapsulation line, document batches, and maintain cleanliness and safety. Don’t miss GMP experience, English proficiency, and ability to lift 20 kg; we offer a competitive hourly rate and onsite team culture. Eligible to work in New Zealand required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' factory experience operating encapsulation machinery.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and blending raw materials per BOM and batch docs.
• Operate encapsulation machine per SOP and batch doc.
• Complete batch documentation accuracy.
• Clean production area and equipment.
• Perform in-process checks.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks to support operations.

New Zealand Health Manufacturing (NZHM)is a leading manufacturer of dietary supplements in New Zealand. NZHM's Award-Winning success is due to its commitment to its customers and quality. Our world-class manufacturing site produces dietary supplements for New Zealand and multiple overseas markets.

The Production (Encapsulation Machine) Operator role involvesall the activities related to the production ofencapsulated dietary supplements and the continuous improvementof the quality of products produced. Given the growth of the team we have two permanent full-time vacancies to fill.

These rolesare based at our factory in Mangere, Auckland. The hours are Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11pm.

Role-specific tasks:

• Dispensing & blending of raw materials according to bill of material and batch documents
• Operating the encapsulation machine according to standard operating procedure and batch document.
• Completion of batch documentation
• Cleaning of production area andmachinery
• Performing in-process checks
• Ad-hoc tasks to ensure business continuity.

We're looking for a capable and disciplined professional, who's aligned with our values, and committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a factory environment operating such machinery, FMCG desirable.
• Good written and spoken communication skills - proficient in English.
• A good level of physical fitness as there are often long periods of standing, ability to lift 20kg.
• Strong adherence to workplace Health and Safety practices.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• GMP experience is required, and Natural Health industry knowledge is desirable.
• An understanding of the importance of working to strict deadlines.
