Job summary

Scientific & Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Process & Production Operator for a three-month temporary assignment at Mount Maunganui. The role operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off day-shift roster in a busy chemical manufacturing environment, handling production, blending, packaging and labelling to required standards.

You will work with automated and manual processing equipment, prepare raw materials, and ensure products are manufactured and packaged to specification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or chemical handling.
• Experience operating processing, mixing or batching equipment.
• A current forklift licence and confidence operating a forklift.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow production instructions.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, batch, dilute and blend chemical products according to production requirements.
• Operate automated and manual mixing and processing equipment.
• Collect, prepare and handle raw materials for production.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products.
• Down-pack products into various packaging formats, including IBCs, drums and pails.
• Apply product labels accurately and complete packaging checks.
• Wash, inspect and test product packaging as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
