Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Production Engineer to improve how we plan, run, and continuously improve production outcomes across our Auckland operations. The role is primarily based at 4 Reliable Way, Penrose, Auckland, with work across multiple locations in the region.

You will work with operations, maintenance and leadership to lift performance, solve problems, and maintain high standards. This hands-on, site-based role is 40 hours per week, 6am–6pm, with a salary band of $90,000 to $100,000.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline is essential.
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and turn insight into action.
• Collaborative, down-to-earth approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and process improvement initiatives to lift efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Analyse plant and operational performance data, identify issues, and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Work closely with site teams across Auckland to troubleshoot production problems and support continuous improvement activities.
• Support safe systems of work and ensure engineering activities meet operational, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to planning, reporting, and delivery of engineering projects and technical improvements.
