Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a Production Administrator/Analyst for our Hamilton Manufacturing Unit. This permanent role offers 40 guaranteed hours per week and involves planning, reporting and data analysis to optimise manufacturing operations.

You will develop dashboards, analyze production metrics and support cross-departmental administration, driving informed operational decisions in partnership with site managers.

We are looking for an organised and analytical Production Administrator/Analyst to join our team at the Hamilton Manufacturing Unit.

This is a permanent position with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

You will support the effective planning, monitoring and optimisation of manufacturing operations through accurate reporting, data analysis and administration.

You will provide valuable insights into production performance, labour efficiency, yield, waste, capacity utilisation and operational trends.

Working closely with managers and other teams, you will help improve processes and support informed operational decision-making.

• One to three years’ experience in administration, office management or operations coordination.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and time-management capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and CRM, ERP or SAP systems.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to resolve operational issues.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field would be advantageous.
