Job summary

Hamilton City Council seeks a Product Owner and Reporting (LTP & Portfolio Office) to own Psoda and drive portfolio reporting, governance, and investment decision support. You will influence senior leaders, stakeholders, and vendors, shaping capital planning and organisational performance with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in a PMO/P3O environment.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Experience supporting governance and strategic investment decisions.
• Strong focus on data quality and integrity.
• Experience with Psoda or similar portfolio tools.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the ongoing development of Psoda as HCC's portfolio management tool.
• Develop and implement organisation-wide portfolio reporting strategies.
• Deliver meaningful reporting and insights to support governance and decision-making.
• Ensure financial, project, and portfolio data is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.
• Support long-term planning and capital investment decision-making.
• Drive enterprise reporting standards and earned value reporting practices.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Mentor and grow capability across teams in portfolio reporting and analytics.
• Establish and promote best practice P3M reporting and data management.
