Re-Leased in New Zealand is seeking a Product Manager (Reporting & Credia AI) to own two squads, shaping the why, what and how for a hybrid role that blends product management and design. You’ll lead discovery, prioritisation and delivery, crafting flows, wireframes and prototypes, and you’ll apply AI-driven insights across research, drafting and prototyping.

You can work remotely from New Zealand or from our Auckland or Napier offices.

Qualifications

• SaaS product management experience required.
• Portfolio showing design work you personally designed and shipped.
• Proficiency with AI-native design tooling (Claude Design/Artifacts) preferred.

• Act as product manager and designer—produce user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity screens and interactive prototypes.
• Shape reporting/analytics capabilities with data models and trade‑offs in collaboration with Engineering/Data.
• Extend Credia AI across the product, designing for probabilistic behaviour and user trust.
• Conduct customer interviews and use product analytics to inform roadmap direction.
• Write clear user stories and specs; defend design rationale to stakeholders.

Your Role

As Product Manager (Reporting & Credia AI), you’ll own the \"why\", the \"what\", and the \"how it looks and feels\" for two squads, one extending the reporting and insight capability our customers rely on to run their portfolios, and one extending Credia AI across the Re-Leased product.

This is a deliberately hybrid role. You\'re the product manager and the designer for your squads, roughly half your time on discovery, prioritisation and delivery, and half on the design craft itself: flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens and prototypes. There is no hand-off culture here, we all ship together. Design experience is a distinct advantage, we\'re looking for a product manager first, but one who can design what they ship. AI-augmented product work is core to how we operate, not an experiment on the side; you\'ll use AI tools daily across research, drafting, design and prototyping.

This role could be based remotely in New Zealand or in our Auckland or Napier offices.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and backlog for two squads, translating customer needs and business priorities into clear, well-sequenced work


• Act as both product manager and designer — producing user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes using Claude Design


• Shape reporting and analytics capability that\'s accurate, trusted and genuinely self-serve, partnering with Engineering and Data on data models and trade-offs


• Extend Credia AI across the product, designing for probabilistic behaviour, graceful failure, transparency and user trust


• Conduct customer interviews independently and use product usage data (Pendo) and AI synthesis to inform roadmap direction


• Use AI tools (e.g. Claude Desktop, Claude Projects) as an everyday teammate for research, analysis, drafting and prototyping


• Write clear user stories, PRDs and specs, and present and defend design rationale to stakeholders and executives


• Hold a high bar for functional quality and craft — accessibility, responsiveness and interaction detail included

Your Experience

• Solid experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS or technology environment, with a track record of owning a product area and delivering with quality


• Demonstrable product design skill evidenced by a portfolio — work you personally designed and shipped, not just design appreciation


• Confident producing production-ready UI; fluency with AI-native design tooling matters more than any single package (we use Claude Design and Claude Artifacts)


• Strong discovery and validation practice, with data literacy as a baseline and comfort with analytics tools


• Daily fluency with AI assistants for product and design work, with a working understanding of prompt design, evaluation and hallucination management


• Experience designing complex B2B/SaaS workflows where information density and user expertise are real constraints


• Experience with Pendo, ProductBoard, Azure DevOps or comparable tools; exposure to reporting or data-heavy product areas is highly regarded
