We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function, strengthen supplier partnerships, optimise inventory and working capital, and drive improved commercial outcomes across our local and international supply base.
This is a key commercial role requiring proven procurement and supply chain experience, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and excellent NetSuite, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the day-to-day procurement function, ensuring the right products are available at the right time, cost, and stockholding levels
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, growth plans, margin targets, and customer requirements
- Managing and developing strong relationships with both local and international suppliers
- Negotiating supplier pricing, rebates, payment terms, freight arrangements, lead times, MOQs, and other commercial terms
- Driving cost-saving and margin improvement initiatives while maintaining product quality and service levels
- Managing international purchasing, including foreign currency exposure, payment requirements, freight, and landed costs
- Leading demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain strong stock availability while minimising excess and slow-moving inventory
- Monitoring supplier performance across pricing, quality, lead times, delivery performance, responsiveness, and reliability
- Identifying and managing supply-chain risks and developing alternative supply options where appropriate
- Reviewing inventory performance and working with internal teams to improve stock turns and working capital
- Ensuring accurate product, supplier, cost, and pricing information is maintained within NetSuite
- Developing procurement reports, KPIs, and commercial insights using NetSuite and Excel
- Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service to align procurement with business requirements
- Supporting new product development and sourcing opportunities, including supplier identification, pricing, samples, and commercial negotiations
- Driving continuous improvement across procurement, inventory management, forecasting, and supply-chain processes
What we’re looking for:
- Proven procurement experience, ideally 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, with experience at a senior or management level
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is highly desirable, including confident use of NetSuite reporting and inventory tools
- Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation and commercial procurement, with a track record of achieving improved pricing, terms, and supplier performance
- Solid experience in international purchasing, including foreign currency transactions, freight, lead times, and landed-cost considerations
- Strong inventory management, demand planning, and forecasting capability
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of margins, working capital, stock turns, and cost management
- Excellent supplier relationship management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and confident working with ERP and reporting systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A proactive, accountable, and collaborative approach with the ability to influence across the business
