Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections is seeking a Procurement Adviser to help commission services that support rehabilitation, reintegration, wellbeing, and positive community outcomes. You will build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, provide end-to-end procurement support, and analyse information to inform decisions.

This permanent role based at our National Office in Wellington welcomes candidates with procurement experience who are capable of working

Qualifications

• Experience with government procurement rules.
• Understanding of the Social Sector Commissioning Action Plan 2022-2028.
• Ability to work independently and manage pieces of work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
