Job summary

New Zealand Post is hiring a Processing Officer / Forklift Operator for our Christchurch Processing Centre. The role involves sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels, with forklift operation for up to six hours per shift, Monday to Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm.

A restricted license with F endorsement or current OSH certificate is required, along with the ability to lift up to 25 kg and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must have a restricted driver license with F endorsement OR an OSH certificate.
• Be able to lift up to 25 kg and work in a physically demanding role.
• Work at Christchurch Processing Centre for NZ Post.
• Demonstrate health and safety focus and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Christchurch Processing Centre.
• Drive a forklift for up to 6 hours per shift.
• Maintain accuracy and safety in handling goods and supplies.
