Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking a Processing Officer for Invercargill Operations Centre. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight to support our courier network. The role is for three mornings per week, with on-site work and a focus on accuracy, safety and pace.

This fixed-term position runs until January 2027. Applicants must be available Monday to Wednesday 6:00am–10:00am and prepared to pass checks as part of our trusted NZ Post team.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday to Wednesday, 6am to 10am until Jan 2027.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role - can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Invercargill Operations Centre, ready for our couriers to deliver. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa. This is for a fixed term until Janaury 2027.
