Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd in Christchurch is seeking a Process Worker / Team Coordinator for the Further Processing department. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers an entry-level management path, reporting to the Team Leader, with responsibilities to plan and coordinate day-to-day activities within the team.

The ideal candidate is people-focused with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and is willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be people focussed with excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience supervising others and coordinating teams is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities are valuable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coordinate and plan day-to-day operations and ensure information flow to Team Leaders/Managers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced department and adapt to changes.
• NZ citizenship, NZ residency, or a valid NZ work visa is required.

We are currently seeking a Team Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in overseeing production activity within the Further Processing department at our Christchurch site.

About the role:

This positon is a full-time Entry-Level Management role, working Monday - Friday, which requires flexibility in hours to meet the needs of the business. Reporting to the Team Leader, the Team Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient planning and effective coordination of day-to-day activities within their team, this is an extension to the Process Worker role and an entry level into management.

Key responsibilities:
