Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Process Operator in Wiri, NZ. This permanent full-time role operates heavily automated and robotic packaging machinery for our chip lines. Monday to Friday roster, 7:00am–3:00pm, with safety and quality at the forefront. You’ll input data, monitor processes and support clean, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum NCEA Level 1-3 or equivalent.
• Processing machine operation experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of HACCP/GMP is advantageous.
• Safety conscious and proactive about hazards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Operate heavily robotic packaging machinery for chips.
• Record, report and input data into computerised systems.
• Ensure flavour testing is accurate and aligns with product runs.
• Perform quality checks and manage materials and waste.

Responsibilities

• Operating industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Operating the heavily robotic machinery that packages our chips into packets, and also into boxes.
• Record, report and input accurate data into computerised systems.
• Ensureflavour testing is completedeffectively, and accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with product runs.
• Complete quality checks as required, with management of materials and waste.

Qualifications

• Minimum NCEA Level 1-3 or Equivalent
• Previous experience with processing machine operation is advantageous but not essential
• Understanding of HACCP/GMP is advantageous
• Safety conscious
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A high mechanical aptitude withstrong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
• Work as part of an efficient Food Production Team
