Tegel Foods Limited is seeking a Process Worker for our Further Processing team at the Henderson plant in West Auckland. You will join a fast-paced, supportive team on rotating 12-hour shifts (36 hours over three days) with days or nights available.

Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday is required. Role focuses on hands-on processing, equipment operation, safety, and quality standards in a chilled environment.

Formación

• Experience in production, manufacturing or warehousing is advantageous.
• Comfortable following written and verbal instructions.

Join our team as a Process Worker in one of our chicken processing departments! You'll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and supportive team environment where collaboration is key. Currently, we have an opportunity available within our Further Processing team. This role is based in our processing plant in Henderson, West Auckland.

Working Hours

Within Further Processing, the team works 12-hour shifts over 3 days - 36 hours. We operate a rotating roster, and therefore, you must be flexible with the days you work from Monday to Saturday.

Shift Pattern

We offer two shifts in Further Processing - Days or Nights.

What you'll be doing

• Hands-on work, processing raw chicken to quality standards
• Operating equipment and handling materials safely and efficiently
• Working in a chilled environment with strict food safety standards
• Identifying and reporting safety risks to help maintain a safe workplace

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehousing environment is essential
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on processing work
• A focus on attention to detail and comfortable working in a team environment
• Be reliable, with a good attendance and timekeeping record
• A quality/food safety qualification will be highly regarded, but not essential
