Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join the Processing Plant team at Waihi, NZ. This residential role offers a 7 days on / 7 days off roster with day and night shifts, focusing on optimising plant performance and preventative maintenance while upholding safety and SOPs.

You will engage in SCADA monitoring, participate in training schemes, and contribute to efficient operating circuits. NZ work eligibility is required; we offer a supportive workplace and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous processing plant experience or similar preferred.
• Full and current Class 1 driver licence, manual preferred.
• First Aid certificate would be highly regarded.
• Experience with forklifts, loaders, skid steers is an advantage.
• Exposure to MS Office products and computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate plant inspections and adjustments per schedules.
• Adopt daily plans, schedules and work orders to meet changing conditions.
• Audit work areas for compliance with site standards and consent conditions.
• Conduct sampling for metallurgical and operational control.
• Assist in shutdowns, breakdowns, or start-ups in a safe manner.
• Operate SCADA and document in Pronto; communicate via email.
