Job summary

Briscoes Homeware and Rebel Sport are part of Briscoe Group, seeking a Buyers Assistant to support private label product development in Auckland. You’ll coordinate samples, approvals and supplier communications, while tracking timelines and maintaining data accuracy.

You’ll work closely with the Buyer and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely launches, manage purchase orders, and prepare reports that inform merchandising decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential for product data.
• Effective written and verbal communication with suppliers.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills expected.
• Experience in retail, merchandising or buying support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support development of private label products from concept to launch.
• Coordinate samples, approvals and supplier communications.
• Track product development timelines and critical path milestones.
• Raise, update and monitor purchase orders and confirmations.
• Maintain accurate product pricing, costing and supplier information.
• Assist with product launches and seasonal reviews.
