Briscoes Homeware and Rebel Sport are part of Briscoe Group, seeking a Buyers Assistant to support private label product development in Auckland. You’ll coordinate samples, approvals and supplier communications, while tracking timelines and maintaining data accuracy.

About the role
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Buyers Assistant to join our Group Merchandise team.
Working closely with the Buyer, you’ll play an important role in bringing our private label products to life. You’ll support the product journey from development through to launch, coordinating samples and product approvals, purchase orders, product information, production timelines and supplier communication.
You’ll be working across multiple products and priorities, keeping development on track, ensuring information is accurate and identifying potential issues early.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves product, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build hands‑on experience in product development and retail buying.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
An interest in retail products and trends, along with a relevant qualification in Fashion, Fashion Business, Buying, Merchandising or a related area, would be a bonus.
