KPMG New Zealand is seeking a Private Enterprise Graduate to support privately owned businesses across New Zealand, starting with the Auckland team. You will apply accounting, tax, and advisory skills to help clients grow, optimize compliance, and drive strategic planning.

The role offers entry-level responsibilities, access to a graduate development programme, and exposure to a National Graduate cohort, including a signing bonus and benefits as part of the package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Financial Preparation: prepare tax returns, GST/FBT returns, respond to IRD queries.
• Management Accounting: assist with income projections and research for business investments.
• Support and Secondment: aid senior staff on larger assignments and manage trusts/partnerships.
• Client Management: respond to client queries and maintain relationships.
• Business Development: develop client relationships and stay updated on business trends.
• Learning and Development: enhance skills in accounting software and contribute to proposals.
