Job summary

KPMG New Zealand in Auckland invites ambitious graduates to join our Audit team through the BOOST! Graduate Development Programme.

You’ll work with diverse clients to build trust in financial information and learn how leading organisations operate from the inside out. From day one you’ll gain hands-on experience in audits, reporting, and risk assessment while developing professional skills, networking with leaders, and receiving mentorship plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Are working towards a Degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CA prerequisites beneficial).
• Bring a collaborative approach, working effectively with colleagues across the team.
• Apply a pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset to problem‑solving.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through professionalism and credibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of audit assignments (statutory audits, assurance engagements, investigations, special reports).
• Summarize the approach, work undertaken, and conclusions of each audit.
• Evaluate client processes and controls for compliance and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to audit objectives and proactively identify risks.
• Research and provide concise summaries for each audit task.
• Respond to client queries, propose solutions, and identify value-added opportunities.
