Job summary

Stantec's Water team in New Zealand is seeking a Principal Water Treatment Process Engineer to lead technical excellence across drinking water, wastewater and groundwater projects. You will play a pivotal role in shaping resilient infrastructure for communities nationwide.

You’ll provide national technical leadership, mentor staff, manage budgets and risks, and participate in business development and client engagement to deliver safe, sustainable solutions across New Zealand and beyond.

Qualifications

• Provide technical expertise in process engineering, especially Water Treatment.
• Provide national technical leadership on projects, including developing and managing people and budgets.
• Identify, develop, and mentor technical staff.
• Contribute to business development through client relationships and opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal and bid development to support business development.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to develop technical solutions and present outcomes.
• Deliver outputs on time and within allocated budgets, endorsed by the client.
• Assist with applying standards and improving design innovation while managing technical or commercial risk.
