Three Kings School seeks an exceptional educational leader to shape our next chapter.
Established in 1878, we are Auckland's oldest school still operating on its original site. Today, our culturally diverse Years 1-6 community combines strong academic foundations with rich learning experiences, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to shine.
As our 150th anniversary approaches in 2028, we seek a principal who will honour what makes Three Kings School special while confidently shaping its future.
Our principal will be an outstanding leader of learning and people: visible, warm and approachable, with high expectations for teaching and achievement. They will bring strategic clarity, sound judgement and thoughtful change leadership, while developing others and strengthening our collaborative culture.
They will champion our diversity, honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and strengthen culturally responsive practice and meaningful partnerships with Māori whānau and mana whenua.
They will value strong foundations alongside creativity, curiosity, sport, the arts, wellbeing, belonging and learning beyond the classroom, enabling every child to discover their strengths, grow in confidence and fulfil their potential.
Leading with integrity, kindness, courage and humility, our principal will communicate clearly, listen well and build trust. Positive and grounded, with warmth and humour, they will unite our community around a clear future direction.
If you are inspired to lead a successful school with strong foundations, an engaged community and exciting possibilities ahead, we would love to hear from you.
