Waimauku School in Northwest Auckland is seeking an exceptional educational leader to become our Principal and guide our school into its next chapter. We are a well-established full primary with 692 students and a strong community identity.

The successful candidate will be a relational leader—visible, fair, trusted and present—with the educational, strategic and organisational capability to lead what comes next.

• support, develop and trust a capable and committed staff;
• listen well, communicate openly and provide clear and purposeful leadership
• take time to understand Waimauku, its strengths and its character before determining where change or improvement is needed
• confidently lead a complex and growing school through the opportunities and challenges ahead

Waimauku School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to become our Principal and lead our school into its next chapter.

We are a well-established full primary school in Northwest Auckland, with a strong community identity, committed staff and 692 students from Years 1–8. Our community is proud of Waimauku School, its people, relationships, traditions and the broad opportunities our students experience.

As part of this appointment process, our Board has listened carefully to our students, whānau, and staff about what matters and what they want from their next Principal.
