Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to shape how security is designed, engineered and delivered across the organisation. This senior role moves between architecture and hands-on engineering, defining standards and guiding complex decisions with engineers, architects and product teams.

You’ll bring 10+ years of security experience, deep expertise in security engineering and architecture, and strong automation skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell).

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ security experience in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in security engineering and architecture across identity, cloud, network, data protection and endpoints.
• Multi-cloud security across Azure, AWS and GCP with secure configurations.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape security engineering at enterprise scale.
• Move between architecture and hands-on engineering; set standards and reusable patterns.
• Partner with engineers, architects and product teams to solve complex security problems.
