Qualifications

• Full New Zealand Teacher Registration (or current practicing certificate).
• Experience managing multi-level/composite classrooms and supporting others.

What we are looking for in a kaiako

• Full New Zealand Teacher Registration (or current practicing certificate).


• Experience or comfort managing multi-level/composite classrooms - we are happy to support you with this.


• Strong classroom management and a warm, approachable style with a positive focus.


• Ability to build connections with whānau and our wider Tuturau community.


• Confidence in teaching literacy and numeracy across the phases with the skills to adapt and differentiate.


• A team player and working as part of a collaborative team and willing to voice ideas to further learning.


• Initiative, reliability, some flexibility and the ability to seamlessly support the Principal.


• Genuine interest in rural education and all the fun that it brings.
