Job summary

Tracksuit Limited is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the data-accuracy strategy for our ever-growing brand-tracking platform. Based in Auckland, you’ll own data sources quality, how we use them, and the trust customers place in every response as we scale globally.

You’ll drive partnerships, introduce new data sources, and shape problems under the Accurate and Trusted pillar while mentoring other PMs and collaborating with research, operations and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Significant product management experience, including setting strategy and moving real business outcomes.
• Comfort with data, experiments and measurement.
• Commercial thinking, connecting product decisions to cost and growth.
• Ability to lead work across several teams or external partners without relying on authority.
• Ability to break a messy, ambiguous problem into clear pieces, and stay effective when the picture isn’t clear yet.

Responsibilities

• Set the product strategy for data accuracy and own the metrics that show how accurate and trustworthy our data is.
• Pressure test current outcomes and metrics, and shape the bets we take towards them.
• Influence engineers, data scientists and domain experts towards the work that matters most.
• Work closely with our research, operations and quality teams.
• Make hard trade-offs between cost, speed and data quality, and explain the why.
• Mentor other PMs and help shape how we do product at Tracksuit.
