Job summary

ARVION SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build scalable, user-facing applications in a hybrid Christchurch setup. You will work with Vue 3+, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern tooling, participate in architecture decisions, mentor peers, and collaborate with designers in an Agile environment.

You will apply strong frontend skills, code reviews, and testing with Vitest/Jest, while embracing AI coding tools to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Strong Vue 3+ experience, or React/Angular with desire to switch to Vue.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Strong clean-code practices.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and OOP/OOD.
• Strong code review skills.
• Experience mentoring other developers.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience writing unit tests using Vitest or Jest.
• Good understanding of Vite, Rollup, Webpack or similar build tools.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design.
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles and collaboration with designers.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
