Job summary

Genesis Energy NZ is seeking a Commercial & Pricing Operations Analyst to shape pricing for our Enterprise customers. You will build and evolve pricing models, turning commercial information into well-informed pricing decisions.

You'll partner with the Enterprise team, develop pricing strategies across electricity, gas, and LPG, and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analyses to support performance. The role emphasizes data quality and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• You'll have a strong commercial mindset and ideally hands-on pricing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into pricing insights and recommendations.
• Experience balancing accuracy with pace and adapting to evolving business needs.
• Experience working with stakeholders across the business is preferred.
• Knowledge of energy sector or large organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Enterprise team to develop and deliver pricing strategies across electricity, gas, and LPG
• Build models and analyse data to generate insights that improve commercial outcomes
• Maintain and govern pricing and commercial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Deliver reporting, dashboards, and analysis to support business performance
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, data quality, and efficiency
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders through reports and visualisations
