Job summary

Qualifications

• MCNZ registration and current certificate of good standing.
• Experience with intern recruitment and workforce planning.
• Understanding of MCNZ Prevocational Curriculum and training expectations.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work with supervising specialists and maintain professional credibility.
• Knowledge of intern expectations and day‑to‑day ward roles.

Responsibilities

• Complete an online claim form for interns each quarter.
• Attend the annual meeting of prevocational supervisors.
• Notify the Medical Council when an intern receives an unsatisfactory clinical attachment assessment.
• Coordinate recruitment, allocation and workforce planning for House Surgeons.
• Support consistency of management practices, employment agreement compliance, and administration of employment issues relating to RMOs.
• Act as the agent of the Medical Council for the PES role.
