Job summary

Kindercare Learning Centres is seeking a passionate Kaiako to join our fun and nurturing preschool team. In this permanent full-time role, you will work from Monday to Friday, supporting tamariki aged 3 to 5 years in a purpose-built centre.

As an ECE qualified Teacher or a passionate Primary School Teacher nearing completion of your qualification, you'll contribute to creating inspiring environments and engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Must be ECE qualified and registered Teacher or completing ECE Teaching qualification.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa is required.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside an inclusive team in a preschool room.
• Create fun-filled learning experiences for tamariki.
• Implement respectful care as a core teaching practice.

Our whānau focussed centre is looking for a warm and nurturing Kaiako to work alongside our fun and inclusive team in our preschool room. If you're passionate about the care and education of tamariki aged 3 to 5 years, we’d love to meet you and show you around our lovely purpose-built centre, licenced for 104 children.

The position:

• Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday
• ECE qualified and registered Teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate, or a teacher in training, or close to completing your ECE Teaching qualification
• Could also be suitable for a Primary School Teacher, who has a passion for new entrants and play based learning
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
