Job summary

Kindercare in Auckland’s whānau-focused centre seeks a warm and nurturing Kaiako to join a fun, inclusive team in our preschool room. If you’re passionate about tamariki education and their transition to school, we’d love to meet you.

This permanent, full-time role offers strong team benefits and requires NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. The candidate will support play-based learning and build partnerships with whānau.

Qualifications

• ECE-qualified and registered Teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate, or a teacher in training
• Could also suit a Primary School Teacher with a passion for new entrants and play-based learning
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a prerequisite

Responsibilities

• Provide care and education for tamariki as they transition to school
• Create inspiring environments for learning
• Partner with parents and whānau
• Deliver fun-filled, play-based learning experiences
• Maintain respectful care as a core teaching practice
