Job summary

Service Foods Ltd is hiring for our Auckland Fresh Produce division, based in South Auckland. This permanent, full-time role starts mid‑November and runs on a six‑day roster (Sun–Fri) from 06:30 to 03:00, offering hands-on work with high-quality produce in a team setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fresh produce or food processing, be comfortable in cold environments, and stay reliable and physically fit with good knife skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, washing, and processing fresh produce.
• Grading, cutting, dicing, and peeling vegetables and fruits.
• Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Inspecting product quality before packaging.
• Operating machinery for peeling, coring, slicing, and dicing.
• Vacuum packaging and labeling.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Adhering to strict food safety and health & safety protocols.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

This is a physically active rolethat involves:

• Workingin a cold storage and food processing environment.
• Regularlifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of produce.
• Repetitivetasks such as slicing, dicing, sorting, packing, and processing products.
• Prolongedperiods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and manual handling.
