Job summary
Redpath Partners in Auckland seeks an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to own projects from concept through construction commencement. You will coordinate across clients, consultants, commercial teams and delivery personnel to shape strategies and secure new work.
You will lead ECI and pre-construction, manage tenders, oversee cost planning, and drive value engineering while supporting mobilisation and delivery planning. This role offers high visibility and strategic influence.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in pre-construction or related roles.
- Experience delivering negotiated work, ECI engagements and competitive tenders.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, programming and risk management.
- Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead ECI and pre-construction activities.
- Manage tender submissions.
- Oversee cost planning and methodology development.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops.
- Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Support successful project mobilisation.
- Provide strategic input throughout project delivery.
