Job summary

Granaro New Zealand Ltd in Auckland, North Island, is seeking a Warehouse & Dispatch Operator to join our Operations team. The role covers warehouse operations, dispatch and inventory control to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, efficiently and on time.

This is a hands‑on role involving daily movement of stock, maintaining warehouse locations, investigating stock discrepancies and supporting cycle counts and stocktakes.

Qualifications

• Experience in food distribution, food manufacturing or FMCG is advantageous.
• Strong inventory management and stock control experience.
• Understanding of FIFO, batch controls and food safety requirements.
• A current Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise work in a busy environment.
• Comfortable using warehouse or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Carry out day‑to‑day warehouse and dispatch activities.
• Ensure stock is correctly received, stored, picked and dispatched.
• Maintain accurate warehouse locations and stock records.
• Maintain a high level of inventory and stock accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Follow FIFO, batch and expiry‑date controls.
• Participate in cycle counts and month‑end stocktakes.
• Work closely with the warehouse team, Customer Service and Operations Manager to meet daily customer requirements.
• Assist with customer deliveries when required.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, food safety and workplace safety.
• Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as required.
