Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Production Technician to build, test, and assemble components for Electron launch vehicles. You will work with supply chain components, contribute to the production line, and support testing across day and evening shifts at our Auckland facilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in relevant industry, strong precision assembly skills, and experience with mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Precise mechanical assembly.
• Operate mechanical, electrical and automated test equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness for oxygen service and wear proper PPE.
• Understand standard industry ESD practices.
• Inspect assemblies to high workmanship standards.
• Manufacture components including riveting and precision assembly.

Responsibilities

• As a Technician, assemble and test Rocket Lab components prior to integration.
• Support production and launch schedules with hands-on build efforts.
