Job summary

Davin Industries in Christchurch, NZ is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to program and set CNC mills and lathes, read engineering drawings and contribute to precision sheetmetal production.

You will work with production and engineering teams to optimise cycles, troubleshoot issues and deliver high-quality components with tight tolerances in a trusted, heritage manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Programming and setting CNC mills and lathes.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Assist with maintaining punch and laser production as required.
• Producing high-quality precision components.
• Troubleshooting machining issues and improving processes.
• Working closely with production and engineering teams.
