Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is seeking a Practice Nurse for an integrated family health centre in Auckland. The role supports patient assessments, triage, and treatment to improve health outcomes, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time employment.

Candidates should have strong clinical skills including venepuncture, wound care, and vaccination, plus experience with Medtech32/Best Practice Intelligence. Residency or citizenship in NZ is required.

Qualifications

• Current Annual Practising Certificate (NZ Nursing Council) and valid CPR Level 5.
• Current Vaccinator Certificate.
• Competent in Medtech32 and Best Practice Intelligence.
• Strong clinical skills including triage, venepuncture, and wound care.
• Experience managing long-term conditions.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver licence.
• New Zealand residency or citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary care, supporting patient assessments, triage, and treatment to improve health outcomes.
• Work alongside GPs and the wider team to manage both acute and long-term conditions in a patient-centred environment.
• Collaborate in a busy integrated health centre across multiple Auckland locations.

About the Position

The Practice Nurse delivers high-quality primary care, supporting patient assessments, triage, and treatment to improve health outcomes. Working alongside GPs and the wider team, the role focuses on managing both acute and long-term conditions in a patient-centred environment, with part-time and full-time opportunities available.

The position requires strong clinical skills, including venepuncture, wound care, and vaccination, along with experience in primary care systems such as Medtech32. You will be a proactive and organised nurse, able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have:
