Job summary

Downer is seeking a Team Leader (Power Technician) to own a field crew delivering essential work across the electricity network. From planned construction projects to responding when customers need power restored, you’ll lead from the front, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

You’ll plan work, coordinate resources, and guide your team while working closely with Supervisors and Works Coordinators to keep work flowing.

Qualifications

• Qualified networks Electrician or Power Technician with a current EWRB practising licence.
• Experience in electricity network construction, maintenance and fault response.
• Experience in leadership, mentoring or crew coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew delivering essential work across the electricity network.
• Plan work, coordinate resources and guide the team through complex activities.
• Respond to power restoration needs and manage on-call rostering where required.
• Maintain safety and high standards on all jobs.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Works Coordinators and stakeholders to keep work flowing.
