Job summary

Avanade is seeking a Power Platform Developer (Team Lead / Consultant level) based in Auckland to deliver Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions for enterprise clients in New Zealand. You will contribute to the delivery within an experienced programme team, shaping architecture and delivering value.

You will lead agile ceremonies, collaborate with architects and clients, and support testing, documentation and handover activities as part of a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building Power Platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of data modelling in Dataverse.
• Ability to lead agile teams and collaborate with architects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power Apps (canvas/model-driven) to meet business specs.
• Create Power Automate flows to automate processes and integrate systems.
• Configure and customize Dataverse environments including security roles.
• Develop and test integrations between Power Platform and Dynamics 365, M365, Azure.
• Apply ALM practices using Azure DevOps and manage environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure quality through testing.

As a Power Platform Developer (Team Lead / Consultant level) at Avanade, you will develop Power Platform solutions that solve real business problems for our enterprise clients in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, you will contribute to the delivery of Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions within an experienced programme team.

What you'll do

• Develop Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven) based on functional specifications and design artefacts


• Build Power Automate flows to automate business processes and integrate systems


• Configure and customise Dataverse environments including entities, forms, views and security roles


• Develop and test integrations between Power Platform and Dynamics 365, M365 and Azure services


• Apply ALM practices for Power Platform using Azure DevOps and environment management


• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives


• Support testing activities including unit testing and defect resolution


• Contribute to technical documentation and handover materials


• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, architects and client teams
