Job summary

Draft NZ Limited in Auckland is seeking reliable poultry production workers for a physical, fast-paced role in a food production environment. Responsibilities include hanging live and raw poultry, handling Meat products, washing trays, and general warehouse duties. Onsite parking and PPE are provided.

MoJ check and reliable transport are required. Role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM start, 8–10 hour shifts, with temp-to-perm opportunities and competitive hourly pay of $24.00 +

Qualifications

• Must have food production experience.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance and communication are essential.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting. Transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Manual hanging of both live and raw poultry.
• Work in a cold, wet environment with strong odours.
• Handling raw meat, organs, and animal innards.
• Washing and rinsing meat trays.
• Repetitive manual handling (lifting 5–15 kg).
• Processing, inspecting, and packing raw poultry products.
• General warehouse and hygiene duties.

About the Role: This is a physical, fast-paced role within a food production environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Manual hanging of both live and raw poultry
• Working in a cold, wet environment with strong odours
• Handling raw meat, organs, and animal innards
• Washing and rinsing meat trays
• Repetitive manual handling (lifting between 5–15 kg)
• Processing, inspecting, and packing raw poultry products
• Performing general warehouse and hygiene duties
