Job summary

TrackerRMS, Inc. seeks a Plumbing Foreman to lead installation and service of plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects across the Wellington region.

You will oversee crews, coordinate with subcontractors, review plans, and ensure work meets NZ codes and safety standards. The role requires a Certifying Plumber or Drainlayer with 5+ years of experience, proven leadership, excellent communication, and a current driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires certifying plumber or drainlayer qualification.
• Minimum 5+ years in residential/commercial plumbing installations and servicing.
• Proven history of leading a successful team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organisation, problem solving and time management.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job description

Our client provides outstanding electrical, plumbing, drainage, and roofing services to a wide range of customers throughout the greater Wellington region. They are currently recruiting a Plumbing Foreman to lead the delivery of projects that range from new system installations to maintenance callouts across the residential, commercial, health, educational, and industrial sectors.

About the role

• Oversee installation and service of plumbing systems and components during the production and delivery of new construction projects


• Manage service/maintenance/ emergency projects plumbers for a wide range of customers


• Lead, motivate and grow a team of project Plumbers that value and demonstrate quality and safety in all their work


• Regularly coordinate with team members, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and to company specifications


• Review and interpret plans, technical drawings and blueprints during new installation fit outs


• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, NZ regulations, and safety standards.


• Conduct on and off-site inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement solutions efficiently.


• Manage project timelines, budgets, documentation and reports.

Key experience & Skills
