Job summary

TrackerRMS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to lead pricing and quoting for residential, commercial, health, educational and industrial projects across Wellington and Auckland.

You will review drawings, develop pricing, prepare tenders, ensure compliance with NZ codes and safety standards, conduct on- and off-site inspections, and manage timelines, budgets and reporting. This is a long-term opportunity to lead a professional team in Auckland and advance within the wider Group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pricing/quoting residential/commercial installations and servicing.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), organisation, problem solving and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, schematics and architectural plans to accurately scope plumbing requirements and prepare detailed client quotations, including materials, labour hours and project-specific requirements.
• Develop accurate project pricing by assessing material costs, labour rates, equipment, overheads and required profit margins.
• Prepare and submit professional tenders, quotations and proposal documentation to clients and main contractors, supporting the business to secure commercially viable projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, NZ regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct on and off-site inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement solutions efficiently.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, documentation and reports.

Our client provides outstanding electrical, plumbing, drainage, and roofing services to a wide range of customers throughout the Wellington and Auckland regions. They are currently looking for an experienced Plumbing Estimator to lead the pricing/quoting of a variety of projects across the residential, commercial, health, educational, and industrial sectors.

About the role
