Job summary

Green by Nature in Queenstown area seeks a reliable Playground Inspector to carry out programmed and responsive works, renewing and upgrading playgrounds, buildings, and facilities in parks and public spaces.

You will join a team with over 30 years in the industry and contribute to community spaces with hands-on work; occasional hours beyond 32 per week may be available based on demand.

Qualifications

• Broad range of handyperson skills for maintenance tasks.
• 1+ year playgrounds maintenance and inspection preferred.
• Willingness to perform manual labour and construction tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair playground equipment and surfaces for safety.
• Maintain tidiness and rubbish collection within playground areas.
• General garden maintenance and public facilities cleaning when required.
• Site preparation including barricading, signs and traffic management.
